I was so busy in my robotic life for a while, going to work, going to school, going to malls, concerts, basically a Manila geek way of enjoying life(not that I'm complaining) but I have been itching to travel. My last travel was way back 2010 in Korea and Japan.
Then finally I have a chance to go to Palawan, I should have been there last time with my lifelong friends but during that time I was teasing them it will rain and there's a typhoon so I never went with them. BUT it never rained. hahaha!
Fast forward to current time: ***splooosh***..........................
Then we finally arrive in Palawan. Now what to do? What else! Go to Puerto Princesa Underground River. It now belong to the New 7 Wonders of Nature. I'm so proud of you "aking inang Pilipinas" for wining this!
The original plan is 1 day in Puerto, go to El Nido then back to Puerto in 3 days. But we where surprised it's hard to get the permit to enter the Underground River since there are lots of tourist since it has been included in the New 7 Wonders of the worlds. If you have a limited time I suggest you to get the permit prior going there by using an agency. the rrice is actually the same.
***3 days of Fun***
So prior going to the underground we did ALOT of things!
1)Honday Bay island hoping.
Snake Island- just like a real snake the shore goes likethis ~~~~~~
Pandan Island - due to "pandan" like trees
Pambato Reef- OMG those reefs are so beautiful! and the fishes!!! Pambato talaga!
You can still go to other islands. One thing we missed is the Starfish Island :( Now I want to go back there.
2)Iwahig Prison and Penal Farm- This is where you can meet prisoners who are turned out to be farmers or carvers.

3)Rancho Santa Monica- Jump shots!
4)Bakers Hill-Pizza time! (that we never had)
5)Butterfly Garden- cute and informative garden
6)Weavers- Pasalubong with a cause.
7)Noki Nocs- The best halo halo we ever had in our life.
8)Kinabuch- We had crocodile meat and tamiloc, not the usual vian in Manila :p
9)UNDERGROUND RIVER- speechless
10)MISSED the flight- Yahooooooo why am I happy? Well....
11)Smokeys hotdog - free meal c/o Mark haha due to me missing a flight "pampalubag loob"
12)Tiki Resort-night life in Palawan
13)Firefly farm-BEST EVER boat ride, I can see the moon, the start and even Jupiter. one of the BEST experience of my life
14)beer hopping. Karaoke hopping.
We started as 4 adventurers, minus one on 3rd day, then I will leave on the 4th day. But due to destiny, I missed my flight, Finally we can really go to the planned EL NIDO and CORON!!! Since the air fare for me to rebook is high my friend and I decided to go to El Nido then Coron ^____^.
The total travel time from El Nido to Coron is 9 long hours which is long and tiring but I can say the it's one fun part of the travel. Heres a tip you can just go outside the boat so you won't get dizzy. You will appreciate the travel more believe me ^_^ lots of great scenery.
***1 day in EL NIDO paradise***
We only stayed for about half a day in El Nido nevertheless we enjoyed the serenity of the place. Sleeping in front of the beach is priceless!
1)Simple house over viewing El Nido shore for the price of 300 peso.
2)Mt Tapyas 700 steps-It's tiring but once you reach the top! You are going to say WOW
***2 days in CORON Paradise - BEST DAY OF MY LIFE ^____^***
1)Island hoping - BEST ever island hoping I've ever had
2)Restaurant hoping- lots of good restaurants and cafe in a small island
La Sirenetta- One of my fave restaurant in Coron, good food, music, and ambiance.
3)Disco
4)Walking at night in the seashore - BEST experience of my life, everything seems so right the music, the food, I can see the start, the sound of the ocean.
6)Reggae Pub-just before going home. Talking about life. Preparing to be back to the "unreal life" in Manila
I enjoyed our stay in Batangas beach before together with my ITD family. This Palawan trip just makes me really appreciate Philippines more! Philippines is a beautiful country with lots of wonders to offer. WHAT's NEXT! I'm so excited!!!!!! ^____^
Once in a while a geek needs to leave his Nintendo Wii, his laptop, the programming headache. We only leave ONCE in our life. LOVE, LIVE, LIFE. Thanks Palawan for making my 2011 a great year.
